Theodore G. Arbuckle

Managing Partner

Ted joined Kenyon Group in 2002 and currently runs our west coast office. He became proficient in business creation, divestitures, and acquisitions during his 12 years at Wells Fargo & Company. His experience at Wells proved invaluable to the next phase of his career: entrepreneurship. Ted was the founding CFO and Marketing Manager of a company selling high tech products, acquired by Moog, Inc. He was CFO of an IT consulting firm that was acquired by Cambridge Technology Partners and was President of an Internet startup that he sold to a leading software company. Ted's hands-on experience in the challenges of building and selling successful businesses has made him uniquely qualified for his role at Kenyon.

Ted has a BS in Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Christopher C. O'Brien

Chris joined Kenyon Group in early 2021 as a Managing Director. Chris began his career as a litigator and practiced law for more than a decade before joining Xerox Litigation and Compliance Services. Chris spent 12 years at Xerox as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and in this capacity, he was responsible for overall corporate operations, helping grow the company’s top and bottom-line by more than 500%. Chris was also responsible for Corporate Development, Transformation, and the expansion and operation of services/offerings to Europe, India and Asia. Chris has also served in senior roles in two separate Governor’s administrations in New York and was recently General Counsel at a public authority. Chris was born in Manhattan and now lives in Saratoga Springs, New York with his wife and two sons.

JP Midgley

Managing Director

JP joined the Kenyon Group in 2024 as a Managing Director. JP began his career at Avalon, a national litigation support provider in the United States. During his time with Avalon, JP serviced in several roles including several VP Roles and ending his time there as the CEO for 13 years where he grew revenues and EBIDTA by more than 500%. JP has a wide range of M&A experience including acquisitions, acquihires, sell side transactions, management buy-outs and divestitures.

JP is an Active Member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) as well as the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and has completed several relevant programs including the Entrepreneurial Master Program at MIT, The Global Leadership Academy and is well versed in Business Operating models EOS and Scaling Up and has a passion for helping founders realize the full value of their effort in building their business.

Tom Meyerer

Strategic Advisor

Tom joined Kenyon Group in 2024 as Strategic Advisor leading special engagements where his expertise benefits clients. Prior to Kenyon, he was an executive in the Financial Institutions Group at Capital One Bank where he was responsible for the origination and structuring of senior debt transactions as well as relationship management. Tom has covered a range of asset classes including residential mortgage, vacation ownership, tax lien, consumer lending, auto, single family rental and other areas of specialty finance.

Prior to Capital One Bank, he was an Investment Officer in the Lender Finance Group at CapitalSource Finance from 2003 to 2011.

Tom is a graduate from the University of Maryland and the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School. He currently holds FINRA series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.

Roger W. Miller

Strategic Advisor

Roger is the founder of Altep, a full-service eDiscovery and litigation support company and served as President and CEO from its founding in 1996 until its acquisition by Advanced Discovery in 2017. Following the sale, he served as executive vice president for one year and then following the acquisition of Advanced Discovery, by Consilio served until 2020 as the Senior Vice-President consulting for investigations, for Consilio.

Roger’s experience founding, growing, and successfully exiting a highly regarded legal service provider is invaluable to Kenyon’s clients when embarking on a sale. Roger has served as a Strategic Advisor to Kenyon since 2021 and continues to serve as a consultant in various capacities for related industry companies, both software and service-related companies.
